Summary
This item is being presented to report on recommended improvements within the SH 45 Corridor from Schultz Lane to SH 130, and Heatherwilde Blvd from the city limits/Cheyenne Valley Dr south to Kingston Lacy Blvd. The cities of Pflugerville and Round Rock have been collaborating to evaluate short and long term mobility improvements, including the construction of the frontage roads between Donnell Drive and Heatherwilde Blvd. In addition, multiple developments exist within these corridors and have provided Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) reports. Staff has been reviewing each of these in the context of the study to achieve the best solutions throughout the corridors using elements of each. Recommended improvements affecting SH 45 have been submitted to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Toll Operations Division (TOD) for review.
