Conduct a public hearing on the boundaries of the Central Business District (CBD) as defined in Chapter 155 Subchapter B Section 155.1103.
Summary
This item is being presented to receive input from the property owners within the defined Central Business District (CBD) Boundary as well as those within 500 feet of the boundary and other stakeholders to consider if the boundaries, as they exist today, fit the needs of the community, and what alternative to changing that boundary should be considered, if any. Staff will provide some options for discussion purposes and request that any other suggested alternatives be considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission. No action by the Planning and Zoning Commission will take place at this meeting.
Projected Future Action
Summer 2013 - Neighborhood/Commission/Staff Committee meeting to be followed by a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission for consideration and action.
