Summary
As is represented in the letter attached from H.R. Gray, the original contract for owner's project representative services was approved for a 12-month construction period. The current project schedule provided by the contractor projects completion of the project on March 13, 2013 or one month ahead of the completion date established by the construction contract of April 13, 2013. The proposed supplemental contract commits the City to a maximum of $54,000 or less, should the project be completed before April. Approval of this item extends the contract duration to coincide with the contractual completion date of April 13, 2013.
Status
The Pflugerville Community Library Expansion and Renovation Project remains on schedule with the contracted completion date of April 13, 2013. The expansion portion of the project is expected to be complete and open to the public in mid-January 2013. The renovation of the existing library facility is anticipated to last an additional 60 days.
Prior City Council Action
The existing contract for $248,094.00 was approved by the City Council on November 9, 2010.

Staff is requesting action on this item on November 13, 2012.
Projected Future City Council Action
No additional action regarding this item is anticipated.
Fiscal Impact
The existing contract and proposed supplemental agreement are funded by the General Obligation Bonds approved by the voters in 2008 to fund the expansion of the library. There are adequate funds remaining in the bond issue for this expense.
