Title
Authorizing the City Manager to execute a conditional purchase agreement, by Special Warranty Deed, and a Slope Easement agreement between Bruce Cash and the City of Pflugerville for the utility and roadway construction associated with the Heatherwilde widening and MUD5 water main capital improvement projects.
 
Summary
In order to proceed with the Heatherwilde widening and MUD5 water main capital improvement projects, property acquisition is needed for necessary construction along portions of Heatherwilde Blvd.  City staff and the City's property acquisition consultant worked directly with the landowner on negotiations for the affected property.  The agreed to price based on appraisals for the necessary easement and right of way is $59,399.
 
Approval of this item authorizes the City Manager to execute the conditional purchase agreement by Special Warranty Deed and the Slope Easement and subsequently record them with Travis County.  The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the purchase agreement and easement agreement.

Fiscal Impact
Funding for the property purchase is from previously issued bonds for street improvements.

Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreements for property acquisition.
