Discuss and consider taking action on authorizing the PCDC Executive Director to sign the 1849 Park Reclaimed Water Line Easement Agreement and Related Temporary Construction and Public Utility Easement Donations to the City of Pflugerville.
Summary
This item requests approval of a donation of two temporary construction easements and one public utility easement needed for the City of Pflugerville’s 1849 Reclaimed Water Line Capital Improvement Project. The project includes installation of approximately 13,200 linear feet of 12-inch and 7,000 linear feet of 10-inch reclaimed waterline to serve 1849 Park and large volume of commercial customers reclaimed water.
The proposed easements are located at the rear of two vacant parcels within the 130 Industrial Park (Renewable Energy Park).
• Parcel 4 requests a 10-foot temporary construction easement.
• Parcel 5 request includes a variable-width temporary construction easement (ranging from 10 feet to 25 feet to accommodate launch pits and micro tunneling for the SH130 crossing) and a 15-foot permanent utility easement.
Both temporary easements will remain in effect through project completion. The project is anticipated to bid in Summer 2026 with an estimated time construction duration of 12-14 months.
