Approving a Change Order to Tyler Technologies in the amount not to exceed $135,000 for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
Summary
The purpose of this agenda item is to seek the City Council's approval for additional funding of approximately $135,000 for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. On February 8th, 2022, Council approved an agreement with Tyler Technologies, INC. for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in the total amount of $1,977,117. These additional funds will cover the project management costs associated with moving the “go live” date for the financial components of the ERP from June 1 to October 1, as well as additional funds to convert virtual training hours to in-person training hours to ensure the success of this critical project.
Not only with this extension allow for more thorough testing, user training, and change management, it will align the launch of the financial components of the ERP with the new fiscal year which is best practice and will provide for a smoother transition and audit process.
The additional funding of $135,000 requested in this agenda item is the net of $208,240 of new services less $77,000 of virtual training hours being removed from the scope.
