A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pflugerville, Texas, declaring the public purpose and necessity to acquire multiple property interests from different property owners pertaining to the same capital improvement project of the City: an approximate 0.666-acre and 0.387-acre water line easements and 1.394-acre and 0.909-acre temporary construction easements; each located in the John Davis Survey No. 13, Abstract 231, and being out of the remainder of a called 81.15 acre tract, with an address of 1200 E. Pflugerville Parkway and generally located between SH 130 and Dessau Rd; and an approximate 1.029-acre water line easement and 1.607-acre temporary construction easement, both located in the John Davis Survey No. 13, Abstract 231, and being out of a called 20.024 acre tract, and generally located between SH 130 and Dessau Rd; all such properties in the City of Pflugerville, Travis County, Texas; the acquisitions being required to support the City’s construction of a 30-inch waterline along the west side of SH 130 from Pflugerville Parkway to FM 685; and authorizing the City Attorney to proceed with activities necessary to acquire said properties, including institution of condemnation proceedings to acquire the necessary land rights through the use of the City’s eminent domain authority
Summary
This resolution has been included on the agenda to follow for discussion and potential action regarding waterline easements and temporary construction easements (Parcels 2, 2.1 & 3) needed for the 30-Inch SH 130 and Pfluger Farm Lane Waterline Project. The City has determined a public need to acquire waterline easements and temporary construction easements for the purpose of a 30-inch waterline along the west side of State Highway 130 north of Pflugerville Parkway to FM 685. This includes a 30-inch waterline along Town Center Drive and crossing State Highway 45, providing a means to fill the ground storage tank from the central pressure zone.
