Summary
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking the approval of a janitorial services contract with Boss Lady Mobile Laundry & Cleaning LLC to provide park restroom services at a cost of $142,480. The service contract includes four-day-per-week full service cleaning at 10 park restroom locations: 1849 Park, Bohls Park, Falcon Pointe Splash Park, Heritage Park, Lake Pflugerville, Pfennig Park, Pfluger Park, Stone Hill Park, Wells Point Soccer Complex and Wilbarger Creek Park. Staff are currently cleaning restrooms 3-4 days a week depending on their rounds, this agreement will offset their current cleaning schedule and ensure the restrooms are cleaned 7 days a week.
There were 9 total vendors who bid on this project through a request for proposal (RFP). They were ranked by staff, top three were interviewed and Boss Lady Mobile Laundry and Cleaning were selected, and Purchasing staff approved the selection. Funding for this contract is allocated from the Maintenance Contracts account of the General Fund. The vendor signed standard legal contract with no edits.
