Professional Services Agreement with Tetra Tech, Inc., in the amount of $596,200 to provide professional engineering services associated with the Schultz Lane Safety Improvements Project.

Summary
This agenda item requests approval of a Lump Sum Professional Services Agreement (PSA) in the amount $596,200 for Tetra Tech, Inc to provide comprehensive engineering, environmental, surveying, geospatial mapping, and PS&E (100% Design - Plans Specifications and Estimate), bidding, construction and close-out phase services associated with TR2405 - Schultz Lane Safety Improvements Project. The services associated with this agreement will be provided for FY26, FY27 and FY28.

Under this agreement, the consultant will provide full project management and coordination services, including schedule management, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), stakeholder coordination, progress reporting, public involvement support, and coordination with City staff, developers, and utility providers throughout the design process.

The scope of work includes schematic development and final PS&E design services for AW Grimes and Schultz Lane intersection safety improvements and roadway geometry, drainage systems, storm water infrastructure, bridge elements, pedestrian facilities, and shared-use path accommodations. The consultant will also prepare associated cost estimates, engineering analyses, and construction documentation necessary to advance the project toward future construction phases.

The agreement further includes environmental compliance services required to support project development and future permitting efforts, environmental site assessments, cultural resource coordination, and regulatory compliance documentation associated with federal and state environmental requirements.
