Summary
This discussion will center on the current findings by the consultant regarding a community assessment, comparative data with other communities, and preliminary findings on industry concentration. The discussion seeks to receive feedback by both the appointed and elected officials during this early stage of the process.
On September 26, 2023 at a City Council worksession, Ernst and Young reviewed the CEDS 2.0 vision and goals and gave a brief summary. Discussion followed regarding partnerships, working with small businesses, and working with the city.
Prior City Council Action
On July 11, 2023 City Council approved a contract between the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation and Ernst and Young , LLP to provide consulting services for the CEDS 3.0 plan.
