Summary

This resolution authorizes the City Manager to apply for and accept, if awarded, a State Crisis Intervention Program Grant award in the amount of $186,000 from the Office of the Governor for the continuation of a public safety alternative response program for persons experiencing mental health emergencies within the City of Pflugerville.

There is no funding match for this grant from the City. Approval is also requested to authorize the City Manager to sign all necessary documents upon final approval of the City Attorney.

 

Prior City Council Action

Pflugerville City Council approved a resolution for the Fiscal Year 2025 State Crisis Intervention Program Grant on March 12, 2024 for the implementation of the public safety alternative response program.
