Summary
The Heatherwilde Widening Project requires property acquisition along portions of Heatherwilde Blvd. for construction. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated directly with the landowner for the needed property. The cost of $45,655.00 has been agreed to based on appraisals for the necessary easement and right of way.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute a conditional purchase agreement along with a special warranty deed. These documents will be recorded with the Travis County Clerk’s office once they are executed.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the purchase agreement and easement agreement.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for acquiring this property is from the 2014 general obligation bond funds for the Heatherwilde Widening Project.
