Summary
Councilmember Gonzales serves as the Region 10 Director for the Texas Municipal League (TML). He attended the TML Elected Officials Conference February 7-9, 2014 and served as a moderator at one of the sessions. Councilmember Gonzales was also recognized at the conference for earning his CMO (Certified Municipal Officer) designation and received an Award of Excellence on behalf of the City of Pflugerville for recognizing the importance of continuing education to the enhancement of local governance.
A reimbursement request has been submitted by Councilmember Gonzales for the following business meeting mileage and expenses:
February 7-9, 2014, Texas Municipal League Elected Officials Conference, San Antonio, 202 business miles: $113.12, meal expenses: $52.13

The City Council took action on January 28, 2014 to approve registration and hotel expenses for Councilmember Gonzales to attend the TML Elected Officials Conference.

Fiscal Impact
$165.25 for this reimbursement and $626.87 in hotel expenses for the TML City Officials Conference will be taken from the Council training and education line item 200-4415 in the fiscal year 2014 Administration budget.
