Approving a resolution adopting a hazard mitigation plan for the City of Pflugerville.
Summary
The City of Pflugerville City Council approved an interlocal agreement in January of 2010 which allows the City to participate in the update of Travis County's Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. Travis County was required by federal law to have a Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. Since the City of Pflugerville is incorporated into Travis County's Emergency Management Plan, the City participated through the interlocal agreement in the development of the Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. The resolution adopting the hazard mitigation plan is attached for consideration.
Status
Travis County is awaiting the adopted resolution from the City of Pflugerville to finalize the plan to send to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Prior City Council Action
On January 26, 2010, the City Council approved an interlocal agreement with Travis County for the development of the Hazard Mitigation Plan for 2010. This agreement is attached.
Deadline for City Council Action
Action is requested on September 25, 2012.

There is no future fiscal impact related to this action.
