Summary
City Council approved ORD 1520-21-10-12 which provided Chapter 13 Emergency Services Franchise Required. Prior to this there were no limitations as to entities permitted to have use of public streets within the City of Pflugerville to provide emergency medical transport services.
The City finds it in the best interest to revise the section for clarity. Approval of this ordinance amends the franchise requirement for providing ambulance services for emergency transports and non-emergency transfers within the City Limits of Pflugerville and clarifies that first responder provisions are not subject the franchise requirements.
