Artist statement for the vision and inspiration for the mural: “This mural celebrates the harmony between culture, nature, and expression. At its center, a musician plays guitar, rooted in a field of native Texas flowers, his presence both grounded and expansive. His music becomes a part of the landscape itself, a moment where song and nature move as one. Surrounding him, a Monarch and other Texas butterflies drift and dance like living notes, symbolizing transformation, and the quiet power of migration, shared journeys, and resilience."
