Open Session Item: Discuss and consider action regarding appointment and duties of the Associate Municipal Judge.

 

Summary

The Associate Judge position reports to the City Council and provides support to the Municipal Court and the Presiding Judge. The position duties include presiding over the Municipal Court for class C Misdemeanor cases when the Presiding Judge is not available, may review and/or sign court documents at the direction of the Presiding Judge and assist with the Teen Court and community outreach programs.
