Discuss and consider action to approve the Pflugerville Workforce Study and Strategic Action Plan.
Summary: In April of 2024 TIP Strategies was approved by the PCDC Board and the City Council to undertake Pflugerville's first workforce study. Over the last six months they have met with the PCDC Board and City Council as well as other local and regional workforce partners. In July, TIP presented a mid study report to both the PCDC Board and Council to gain further insight into the community. Next, staff reviewed the report data to provide feedback on the study's findings captured both locally and regionally thus far and in August TIP presented a final draft and took notes of further requests from the PCDC Board. Tonight's presentation will be a final report and strategic workforce development plan for approval. TIP will present the final report and strategic action plan to the City Council at the October 22nd Council Meeting work session.
