Summary
The proposed agenda item requests approval of a conditional purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents between Jan Selman and Dwain Selman (Parcel No.4) and the City of Pflugerville as necessary to acquire real property interests for the Immanuel Road Project and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.

The Immanuel Road project will widen Immanuel Road from a two-lane to a three-lane urban collector, with improvements including new pavement, dedicated turn lanes, curb and gutter, underground storm sewer, intersection and bridge widening improvements, new sidewalk, and shared use paths. Right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation are underway, with the project expected to go out for bid the summer of 2025.

This purchase agreement with Dessau Investments Inc., conveys the necessary fee simple estate easement necessary for the project's construction. City staff, in coordination with the acquisition consultant, negotiated with the property owner and agreed on the appraised amount of $143,070.00, pending City Council approval. Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute the easement, and associated conveyance documents required for the formal conveyance of the property interests.

This item is supported by the Infrastructure pillar of the Strategic Plan.
