Summary

Sorento Holdings acquired the 10-acre Randig Tract in 2013, with City of Pflugerville participation. The long, narrow property was landlocked and adjacent to property held by the City and Sorento Holdings. As a result of this cooperative measure, Sorento Holdings is conveying two tracts totaling 4.9 acres to the City.

 

Status

A Fifth Amendment to the Sorento development is also on this agenda that incorporates the modified land plan resulting from the additional land acquisition.

 

Prior City Council Action

The City Council authorized $25,000 to assist with the acquisition of the 10 acre tract on May 28, 2013. These funds were matched by PCDC following a public hearing on May 9, 2013.

There is no deadline for action.

No additional action is required.

 

Fiscal Impact

There is no additional fiscal impact as a result of accepting this donation of land.
