Resolution amending the City of Pflugerville Investment Policy.
Summary
The Public Funds Investment Act (PFIA) Chapter 2256 of the Texas Government Code requires that City Council review and adopt by resolution the Investment Policy at least annually, approving any changes or modifications. There have been no changes to Chapter 2256 since 2019.
The only recommended change is to the Texas Local Government Investment Pools under authorized investments. New language is being added to specify equivalent rating to AAAm incase the rating is change by rating agencies. This was a recommendation of the CIty's investment tracking software provider.
