Title
Discussion regarding the establishment of a waste water reuse program for the City of Pflugerville.
Summary
The availability of a safe, dependable, and affordable supply of water is a critical factor in the ability of a city or region to grow and attract new business and industry. One way to extend a community’s water supply is through the reuse of water. Instead of releasing treated waste water to streams, the water is treated to a safe standard and used for commercial and irrigation uses. Pflugerville has the opportunity to extend its water supply through reuse. This discussion tonight is meant to discuss the potential, and the possible next steps.
