Summary

Ms. Barron was approved by the City Council on October 9^th to serve as the City's Planning Director in accordance with the City Charter and began employment on October 22. Ms. Barron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the American Planning Association and has been a senior planner with the city of Cedar Park since 2007. Previous to that, she held various planning positions with the City of Austin. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Geography and Planning: Resource and Environmental Studies with a minor in Political Science from Texas State University.
