Resolution supporting the determination of the Highland Lakes Firm Water Customers Cooperative regarding the proceedings related to the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Water Management Plan application No. 5838A currently pending before the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Summary
The City of Pflugerville became a member of the Highland Lakes Firm Water Customers Cooperative in March 2013. I have attached a copy of the interlocal agreement that was approved. This group was formed to provide information and input regarding the interests of firm water users. Since that time this group has met with LCRA General Manager Becky Motal and staff to discuss our specific concerns. This resolution affirms the City of Pflugerville's support for decisions made by the Highland Lake Firm Water Customers Cooperative regarding the pending application for the LCRA 2012 Water Management Plan.
Deadline for City Council Action
Staff would appreciate consideration of this resolution at this City Council meeting.

There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action.
