Summary
The Associate Judge position reports to the City Council and provides support to the Municipal Court and the Presiding Judge. The position duties include presiding over the Municipal Court for class C Misdemeanor cases when the Presiding Judge is not available, may review and/or sign court documents at the direction of the Presiding Judge and assist with the Teen Court and community outreach programs. Laura Roth is an experienced judge who currently works as an Associate Judge for the City of Bee Caves and is an attorney with experience in Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Criminal Law. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
