Summary
The City is proposing to amend Chapter 72 of the code of ordinances to implement a Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) zone for enforcement of speed zones for street improvement projects.
This request is specifically relating to the speed limit in the construction zone on East Pflugerville Parkway with the following boundaries:
ยท Beginning 1,368 feet west of Colorado Sand Drive intersection and ending 1,330 feet east of the Colorado Sand Drive intersection for eastbound and westbound traffic.
This ordinance has been approved by the City Attorney as to form.
Prior City Council Action
Chapter 72 regarding stop intersections on city streets was last amended by the City Council on February 10, 2015.
The City Council approved this ordinance on first reading on April 14, 2015.
