Approving a lease agreement with Williams Scotsman, Inc. for three (3) office space trailers to be placed at the current Public Works Facility in the amount of $197,435, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.

Summary
As has been discussed before, existing Public Works staff have currently run out of space in the existing facilities until the new Public Works Complex is constructed. After evaluating existing space at the Public Works facility, it was determined that the most economical option currently for housing the new and existing staff would be to lease office trailers for workspace for employees given the space limitations in the existing Public Works facilities.

CIP Engineering and Public Works staff were able to find a location within the existing Public Works footprint where office trailers could be located while also giving close access to both wet and dry utilities to hook up to the trailer. These office trailers will also provide a laboratory and office space for the wastewater plant operations team that will not have a space to perform process control duties once the Phase 1 Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project is completed With the completion of the Phase 1 Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project coming to a close, we are able to put these office trailers in locations that were previously used for the construction management team for the project.

Public Works & CIP Engineering staff are continuing to move the Public Works Complex project forward, but we don't anticipate the facility being available until 2026. In the interim, this office trailer will be able to house the new employees until we can bring the new Public Works facility online, but we will need to renew the lease in successive years in the budgeting process.
