Summary
As the fiscal year progresses, it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenue that were not originally anticipated and approved. During fiscal year 2012-2013, budget amendments will be processsed at the end of each fiscal quarter, if warranted. Attached is a summary of the proposed amendments for the first quarter. The summary includes the purpose of the expense, the amount, the budget line item affected, and the revenue source to balance the expense.
Prior City Council Action
The FY 2012-2013 Budget was approved on September 11, 2012. This is the first amendment to that budget. This ordinance was approved on first reading on February 26, 2013.
Deadline for City Council Action
Prior to the end of the 2013 fiscal year.
Projected Future City Council Action
Subsequent amendments will be presented for approval at the end of each fiscal quarter, if necessary.
