Discuss and consider action to approve a resolution canvassing the votes of the November 5, 2024 General Election.

 

Summary

The City of Pflugerville held a General Election on November 5, 2024 to elect for the positions of Councilmember Place 3 and Place 5. Kimberly Holiday was the unopposed candidate for the position of Councilmember Place 3.  Candidates for Councilmember Place 5 were Jim McDonald and Melody Ryan. Preliminary results from Travis and Williamson County showed that as the unopposed candidate for Councilmember Place 3 Kimberly Holiday received 19,408 votes.  For Councilmember Place 5 Jim McDonald received 9,601 votes, and Melody Ryan received 13,528 votes.

 

At the time of posting, Travis County results are still preliminary. Final unofficial results from Travis County will be provided by the time of the meeting.

The City Council ordered the November 5, 2024 Election on August 13, 2024.
