Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2011-2012 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Summary
During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenue that were not originally approved. During fiscal year 2011-2012, budget amendments will be processed on a quarterly basis. Attached is a summary of the requested amendments for the third quarter which includes the purpose of the amendment proposal, the amounts, the line items affected, and the narrative from the referenced City Manager Report regarding the necessity for the amendment.
Prior City Council Action
The FY 2011-2012 Budget was approved on September 13, 2011. The first amendment to the budget was adopted on May 8, 2012. The second amendment was approved on first reading on August 28, 2012.
Deadline for City Council Action
Prior to the end of the 2012 fiscal year.
Projected Future City Council Action
Subsequent amendments will be presented for approval at the end of the fiscal year.
