Discuss and consider action regarding Kennith Bohls House relocation to a parkland location.
Summary
The Kennith Bohls property is under contract to the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) for the future development of the Hawaiian Falls Water and Adventure Park. The house that is located on that property has been gifted to the City by the PCDC for its use.
Following staff discussion, this item was considered by the Parks and Recreation Commission at their November 21, 2013 meeting. Their discussion and recommendation will be presented to the City Council at this meeting.
Deadline for Action
Due to the imminent development plans for this site by Hawaiian Falls, a decision by the City Council during this meeting would be appreciated.
Fiscal Impact
PCDC has budgeted the entire cost of the relocation in their fiscal year 2014 budget. There should be minimal cost to the city for the relocation. Future operations and maintenance costs of the structure will be the responsibility of the City of Pflugerville.
