Summary
This item has been included to on the agenda to allow for discussion on the project timeline as requested by City Council.

On November 3, 2020 the City of Pflugerville held a municipal bond election with three (3) propositions on the ballot. The first Proposition (Prop A) included issuance of $101,700,000.00 bonds by the City of Pflugerville, Texas, for Transportation projects, which includes the City neighborhood street reconstruction, Immanuel Road, FM 685 Corridor improvements, SH 45 frontage roads, Kelly Lane Phase 3, Pfluger Farm Lane North, Main Street, Central Commerce Drive, Picadilly Drive, Weiss Lane Extension/realignment with Cameron Road, East Pflugerville Parkway and Pecan Street.

At the March 23, 2021 City Council meeting, Freese and Nichols, Incorporated (FNI), was approved as the Transportation Bond Program General Engineering Consultant (GEC).

The first phase of procurement for design services associated with the 2020 Transportation Bond Program began March 31, 2021 where a single Request for Qualification (RFQ) was issued to select six (6) different consulting firms to deliver the below six projects. All six projects were awarded at the July 27, 2021 City Council meeting and are now in the design phase.

The second phase of procurement for design associated with the 2020 Transportation Bond Program Street Reconstruction Projects RFQ was issued on August 18, 2021 to select three (3) different consulting firms to deliver the streets identified for reconstruction below.
