Summary
This project provides for an interconnection with the Manville Water Supply Corporation at the City’s Water Treatment Plant and will include 1,400 linear feet of 16" and 12" water line, a 10" control valve and associated appurtenances.
The attached bid tabulation includes the base bid values in which the low bid amount was $478,917.25. The bid received is within the estimated budget.
Status
The project was advertised for bids on October 28, 2015. Five (5) bids were received and opened on November 19, 2015.
Fiscal Impact
This project is included in the fiscal year 2016 Utility Capital Improvement Plan. Funding for this project is from existing utility fund balance.

Staff recommends awarding the construction contract for the Water Supply Interconnect and Improvements at the Water Treatment Plant to JKB Construction Company, LLC, in the amount of $478,917.25.
