Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2011 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Summary
During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenue that were not originally approved. Attached is the ordinance and exhibit showing a summary of the amendments for this third amendment to the budget.
Prior City Council Action
The FY 2010-2011 Budget was approved on September 14, 2010. The first amendment to this budget was approved on February 22, 2011 and the second amendment was approved on June 14, 2011. This third amendment was approved on first reading on July 13, 2011. The first reading for the third quarter budget amendments is included on this agenda as the fourth amendment to the fiscal year 2011 budget.
Deadline for City Council Action
Action is requested on second and final reading on July 26, 2011.
Projected Future City Council Action
Subsequent amendments will be presented for approval for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year.
