Summary
The attached agreement for election services is a multi-year agreement and allows the City of Pflugerville to contract with Travis County for election services. A joint elections agreement for the November 4, 2014 elections will be provided to the City Council for approval separately at a later date.
This agreement has been approved as to form by the City Attorney.
Deadline for City Council Action
Action is requested on September 9, 2014.
Projected Future City Council Action
A joint elections agreement allowing the City of Pflugerville to conduct its November 4, 2014 elections with other entities in Travis County is anticipated for the September 23, 2014 City Council meeting.
Fiscal Impact
At this time, a firm cost estimate is not available. The amount of $10,000 for election expenses is included in the proposed FY 2015 Budget.
