Summary
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking to enter into a general services agreement with Studio 16:19 for landscape architecture services totaling $80,000. Studio 16:19 is a local landscape architecture firm that will provide expertise and collaboration on current and future park projects. In addition to landscape architecture services, Studio 16:19 provides site and master planning, irrigation design, and signage planning services.
The proposed professional services agreement will establish Studio 16:19 llc as the city's consultant to provide landscape architecture services rendered, as needed, to address the city's growing park system. The consultant will work with staff and use the Aspire 2040 Comprehensive Plan and 2023 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan, and 2014 Trails Master Plan and Parks Development Plan as guides to ensure park designs conform to guidance provided through the master planning process.
The Sample Scope of Services is provided and will be used as a template when work is authorized, as needed.
If needed during a any design process, the consultant will lead an engagement process to include citizens, stakeholders, and staff and will deliver a plan document that summarizes the planning process, recommendations, and action plan for implementation.
Studio 16:19 llc has previous design experience in the Pflugerville Parks System. They oversaw design and project management of Stone Hill, Wilbarger Creek North and currently Wilbarger Creek South Parks.
