Summary
At their meeting on May 22, 2012, the City Council heard a presentation regarding Project Connect, a regional high-capacity transit implementation effort, and Project Connect North which includes an alternatives analysis of the north corridor that includes potential future service through Pflugerville via the MoKan corridor. The City Council discussed and Mayor Coleman requested that staff bring forward a resolution opposing rail on the MoKan corridor in Pflugerville. This resolution item has been provided for discussion and potential action.
Residents are encouraged to attend the Project Connect North Open House on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pflugerville Justice Center, 1611 E. Pfennig Lane and to visit www.pflugervilletx.gov/connectnorth for more information.
