Approving and authorizing the City Manager to execute a new Temporary Drainage and Access Easement Agreement to replace the existing easement by and between Branch Banking and Trust Company and the City of Pflugerville located at the southwest corner of New Meister Lane and the MOKAN right-of-way, in the vicinity of the Verde Springbrook Corporate Center.
Summary
A Temporary Drainage and Access Easement already exists in this general area, but a comprehensive review of drainage reports and patterns in this area revealed the existing extent of the easement is insufficient to address the area used for stormwater conveyance. Staff is working with the underlying property owner, Branch Bank and Trust Company, to correct this condition. Upon receipt of an executed agreement from the landowner, approval of this item authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement and subsequently record it with Travis County.
Status
The Agreement has been presented to the property owner. Following the full execution of the Agreement, the existing temporary easement is proposed to be vacated subject to approval of the City Council.
