Summary
The Sorento Subdivision is being developed along the east side of Weiss Lane within Travis County Municipal Utility District (MUD) No. 17. Two entry streets lie fully (Via Sorento Ave.) or partially (Aventura Ave.) within the city limits as a result of petition for annexation by the developer in 2013. The extent of these street rights-of-way define the area applicable to the R-O-W License Agreement. The developer, Sorento Holdings 2012, will be installing entry features and landscaping that will be maintained by the Sorento Owners' Association. Maintenance of the non-standard pavement enhancements will also be the responsibility of the owners' association.
Status
Sorento Phase I has been been final platted. Two additional phases are under construction at this time.
Prior City Council Action
The City Council approved the annexation of the subject rights-of-way on July 9, 2013.
