Summary
The City of Pflugerville charter requires that the City rotate auditing firms every five years.
The City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) which was advertised from May 23rd to June 12, 2024. The RFP Review Committee evaluated all four submissions received from ABIP PC, Clifton Larson Allen L.L.P., Crowe L.L.P., and Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. Evaluators from the finance department reviewed and scored the proposals and recommend selecting Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. as the City's independent auditor for Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2024. The City has the option to engage Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. for up to five years.
Prior City Council Action
The council approved Pattillo, Brown and Hill, L.L.P. to provide independent auditing services on July 10, 2018.
