Summary
The City of Pflugerville implements an annual trail maintenance program to address aging infrastructure, safety concerns, and necessary repairs throughout the City’s trail system. As part of this program, staff identified priority trail segments requiring removal and replacement to maintain safe and reliable public use.
MT Construction Service was selected through a Request for Bids (RFB) based on demonstrated experience with trail construction, qualifications, and competitive pricing. The proposed contract amount of $220,000 will fund the removal and replacement of deteriorated trail sections, extending the lifespan of the trail system and supporting continued connectivity across the City.
Approval of this item authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with MT Construction Service in the amount of $220,000 for trail removal and replacement associated with the City’s annual trail maintenance program, which is budgeted in Maintenance and Operations for FY26. The total and contract is for a 'not to exceed' amount.
