Approve the appointment of Ms. Amy Good as Finance Director.
Summary
Section 4.06 of the City Charter specifies that the City Manager shall appoint the head of each administrative department, subject to the approval of the City Council. Ms. Good is the current Assistant Finance Director, and with the retirement of current Finance Director Beth Davis at the end of the calendar year, the City Manager recommends the appointment of Ms. Good as Finance Director.
Ms. Good has 13 years of governmental accounting experience, nine of those with the City of Pflugerville where she started her employment as an accountant. Her knowledge and work led to her promotion and excellent performance as the Assistant Finance Director. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) and current on all continuing education required for her various certifications. Ms. Good attended Pflugerville schools and currently resides in Pflugerville.

Fiscal Impact
