Summary
The City of Pflugerville solicited bids for the Street Reconstruction Package 1C Project. This project is a part of the Pavement Maintenance Program which includes the reconstruction and rehabilitation of streets and sidewalk crossings. The Streets 1C portion of the Pavement Maintenance Program includes the reconstruction and rehabilitation of streets and updating sidewalk crossings to being ADA compliant along Palmwood Trail, Teakwood Trail, Twin Creek Drive, Pecan Creek Drive, Hickory Ridge Trail, Maplewood Drive, Split Oak Cove, Bell Rock Circle, Milton Cove, Woodlawn Drive, Brophy Drive, Mattapan Drive, Felsmere Drive, and Fenway Park streets.
The project will be funded by 2022, 2023A, and 2025 CO Bonds.
The improvements will enhance regional connectivity and support the Mobility Infrastructure and Connectivity Pillar of the City’s Strategic Plan by improving roadway safety, resiliency, and traffic flow.
Construction is anticipated to begin following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion expected within the contract period specified in the construction documents.
Prior City Council Action
Pflugerville City Council approved a Professional Services Supplemental Agreement with Halff totaling $272,420 for professional engineering services associated with the Public Works Pavement Maintenance Program at the February 13, 2024, meeting.
