Deadline for City Council Action
If the City Council would like to call a general obligation bond election for transportation, parks or other projects, the deadline to call an election for May 2014 is February 28, 2014.
Fiscal Impact
Election costs for a May 2014 special election are unknown at this time. Travis County has provided a cost estimate in the amount of $47,536.03 for election services. Williamson County costs for election services are expected to be approximately $2,000.
