Title
Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: An ordinance of the City of Pflugerville, Texas, annexing, for full purposes, a tract of land totaling approximately .735 acres of land situated in the P. Conrad Survey, Abstract No. 107, in Travis County, Texas, being a portion of Meister Lane, a variable right-of-way width, of the real property records of Travis County, generally south of State Highway 45, North of New Meister Lane, and East of Schultz Lane; extending the boundaries of the city to include the land; and to be zoned Agriculture/Development Reserve (A); To be known as the Meister Lane Annexation; binding the land to all of the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the city; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.

Summary
The proposed annexation consists of approximately .735 acres of land, a variable right-of-way width which consists of portions of existing Meister Lane within the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction. The subject parcel is contiguous to properties within the City limits and therefore is eligible for annexation on petition of the owner of right-of-way, as required by Chapter 43 of Texas Local Government Code. On December 13, 2022, Travis County Commissioner's Court unanimously approved the request to petition annexation of the road to include the portions of Meister Lane that are within the Mokan corridor, however, in their backup exhibit it incorrectly labels the location of the Mokan right-of-way as a portion of land that is not within the city's jurisdiction for annexation. Therefore, the proposed right-of-way to be annexed - as shown on the location map attached - does not include the portion outside of the City's jurisdiction. The proposed annexation of portions of Meister Lane is part of the coordination for the extension of Kenney Fort Blvd.

City attorney approved the ordinance as to form on December 30, 2022.
