Executive Session Item: Consultation with legal counsel pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Texas Open Meetings Act; to wit: discussion about legal concerns and available options related to various issues with the implementation of S.B. 2038 release of area by petition of landowner or residents from extraterritorial jurisdiction. 2.) Open Session Item: Discuss and consider action regarding any direction or approval necessary on the available options discussed in closed session.
