Title

Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2015 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Summary

During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenues that were not originally approved.  Unless a particular situation requires more immediate action, budget amendments are approved on a quarterly basis.  Attached is a summary of the proposed budget amendments for the third quarter which includes the purpose of each proposed amendment, the amounts, and the budget accounts affected. 

Prior City Council Action

The fiscal year 2015 budget was approved on September 23, 2014.  This is the fourth amendment to the fiscal year 2015 budget.  This ordinance was approved on first reading on July 14, 2015.

Deadline for City Council Action

There is no deadline for action.

Fiscal Impact

The fiscal impact is included in the attached summary.

Staff Recommendation

Approve the ordinance on second and final reading on July 28, 2015.
