Summary
Project Pfit support provided to the City of Pflugerville for support of maintenance and operating costs of The Monarch, the new multi-generational recreation center opening Spring of 2027. This facility is projected to achieve full self-funding within a five-year plan. This is an authorized Economic Development Corporation (EDC) project under Tex. Local Gov’t Code Sec. 505.152. Pursuant to the applicable EDC Bylaws,the City Council may approve via minute order. See Bylaw Sec. 8.03 (Approval of the City Council) (stating “To the extent these bylaws refer to any approval or other action to be taken by the City, that approval or action shall be evidenced by a certified copy of a resolution, ordinance, or minute order duly adopted by the City Council.”).
