This agenda item pertains to the contractual mowing of 470.59 acres of municipal property. Unity’s contract was initially approved on 3/4/2021 for one year with the option to extend the contract for two additional 12 month periods, with each extension to be agreed upon by both the city and contractor. In FY22, in an effort to align maintenance contracts with the city's fiscal year, ending the mowing contract on September 30th. As a result of realigning the contract terms, the current citywide mowing contract concluded the first 12 month extension on September 30, 2023. Staff is recommending extending the current contract for it's second 12 month extension option.
