Summary
This item requests City Council to approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Manville Water Supply Corporation and the City of Pflugerville for the Neighborhood Street Reconstruction Package Number 2. The engineering design for the roadway reconstruction of Pflugerville Loop identified the need to relocate (lowering) of a Manville waterline. When this conflict was identified, City Project Staff began easement research and opened negotiations with Manville Water Supply Corporation.
The Memorandum of Understanding being considered will allow for the relocation (lowering) of the Manville waterline by City's project contractor, Patin Construction, which will allow for expedited work and minimal interruption to the overall project timeline.
